Beyond workforce reform, the summit will explore the Support at Home Program, detailing how it integrates former Home Care Packages (HCP), the Commonwealth Home Support Programme (CHSP), and Short-Term Restorative Care (STRC) into a unified funding and assessment system via the Single Assessment System.
This program is designed to streamline access, simplify funding pathways, and enhance personalised care options.
Delegates will also engage with sessions on the revised Aged Care Quality Standards, including the introduction of the new “Food and Nutrition” standard, and will gain clarity on the new risk-based regulatory model featuring three-year provider registration cycles, flexible compliance mechanisms, and strengthened consumer protections.
