In both sectors, staff are guided by a commitment to person-centred care, regulatory compliance, and safeguarding vulnerable individuals, but there are key distinctions in service models, funding mechanisms, and care requirements. 


Aged care typically addresses the holistic, long-term needs of elderly individuals, while NDIS focuses on empowering people with disabilities to live independently through personalized services.
The transition of staff between these sectors requires careful attention to cross-training, skill adaptation, and an understanding of the regulatory and operational differences.
